Midland also generated a new stategic REE project in the Strange Lake deposit area and optioned it to Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation. More recently, Midland signed a new agreement for its Gatineau Zinc project with Zincore Metals.

Midland fully intends to continue securing new partnerships for its properties to be acquired in 2010.
